Looking for a single person or couple to rent two rooms in our spacious Astoria apartment! Strong preference for enbys and feminomenons. :)

Room #1: Large bedroom with west facing windows and a sizable closet. Comfortably fits a queen-sized bed while leaving room enough for a desk, dresser, and yoga/workout space.

Room #2: Office/studio space with west facing windows (shares a wall with room #1). Has great natural light, a sizable closet, room for a desk and more. We have used this room as a bedroom, yoga studio, dance space, music rehearsal space and more.

We are on the top floor of a two story, pre-war building in a quiet part of Astoria. The apartment has high ceilings and amazing sunlight. It’s on a corner, so we have windows on three sides. There are ample grocery stores within blocks of the apartment and laundromat across the street. Closest trains are the M/R at 46th St and the N/W at 30th Ave.

About This Lister

We are a queer couple in our late 20s/early 30s. I've lived in the apartment for 7 years and my partner moved in with me this summer. We're both musicians and performers who work part-time in the service industry and as teaching artists when we aren't deep in a creative project. We're looking for a roommate who is also creative, open hearted, and highly communicative. We like to keep a clean, respectful space, do all our dishes by the end of the night, and speak openly about issues when they arise. We don't really do parties but love to have people over for dinner, rehearsals, and on occasion, art shares.
