I just signed the lease for a gorgeous 2 bed/1 bath condo in the Upper West Side overlooking Central Park, and I'm looking for a female flatmate to live with!

The apartment is in a renovated pre-war building, has hardwood floors, central air, Bosch and Miele appliances, and a large in-unit washer and dryer. The unit is unfurnished and on the 6th floor of the building, which has a doorman, elevator, package room, gym, and private keyed storage in the basement.

The building is located on the upper west side corner of Central Park, and is literally a 1 minute walk away from the Cathedral Parkway–110th Street station, which has the B and C trains, so it's very well connected.

I'm looking to live with a woman in her mid to late 20s who wants to build a thoughtful living space with me, who is empathetic, values open communication, and loves to have a good time (good time here ranging from an evening yap at home with a glass of wine to a dancey night out).

About This Lister

I'm 28 years old, grew up in India, and am starting grad school at Columbia this fall. I've spent the last 6 years working in development, where I help governments in the global south reform their education systems.

I will be in school a lot, anticipate travelling for work during winters and summers, and want my home to be a peaceful, serene place I can relax in. I am also fairly social, have a bunch of friends in the city, and will occasionally love to host and have them over. I'm very, very clean, and enjoy cleaning quite a bit, and don't cook very much.

I love film and music and art and literature and spend most of my time indulging in that when I'm not working or spending time with my friends. I would really love to be friends with my future flatmate - I think it makes the experience of living together just that much richer.
