I am looking for one roommate to join me in my amazing apartment in prime Bedford-Stuyvesant (on Quincy and Nostrand)!

For $1750/month, you will have your own room+private bathroom and an office. The room is cozy, with a street-facing window and a very large closet. The room fits a queen mattress. The office is slightly smaller, though very large for a room of this type, with another very large closet which is partially shared, though will be mostly yours. We'll share access to a big beautiful living room and kitchen, which open out onto a private balcony (lots of natural light)! The apartment has three rooms in total, so there is plenty of space for two people -- I will be the only other person living in the space.

For this location and space, the price makes this a true gem. The apartment is located less than 5 mins from the G train, about about 12 mins to the A/C - will get you into lower Manhattan in less than 30 mins. Lots of busses around to get you into Bushwick, Ridgewood, Williamsburg, Crown Heights. We are about a 20 min walk from Prospect Park in one direction and Fort Green in another, Herbert Von King less than 5 mins away. There are a bunch of lovely coffee shops, bars, and restaurants nearby as well. The Bedford-Stuyvesant YMCA is about a 2 min walk away. I have lived so happily in this area for 5 years now, and recommend it to everyone.

My current roommate who is leaving the space behind works from home, and has worked and lived comfortably in this space for three years. I work full time and am getting my MA at NYU, so am out of the house most days. This would be an ideal set up for someone who works remotely and likes their space. With all of the closet space, this would also suit someone looking for an in-apartment studio space. I am looking for someone to join me in the apartment who will be able to maintain the comfortable, laid-back environment that we've fostered over the past three years. I'm quite a social person and love to hang out, but I am also very busy and have a lot of work, so I'm looking for someone who won't have a problem keeping it quiet/chill on the weekdays, and is okay with having other people in the apartment on weekends.

Utilities are not included in the rent price.
