Ground floor apartment in Clinton Hill / Fort Greene near Navy Yard with Private Backyard. The room for rent is a bedroom with an adjacent room that can be used as an office or sitting space. Or switch the uses… smaller bedroom, and use the larger space as a sitting or chilling area. The rooms for rent are shown in the pictures, currently there is a full size bed in the bigger room and the adjacent room is empty, it has a window looking out to the private backyard. All of the furniture will be removed before move-in. The apartment has a small kitchen with a dishwasher, gas stove/oven, and full size (but smaller) refrigerator. The space is interesting, in that there really is no common area, rather a long hallway that connects the space, which has an entry area that has a daybed in it, and an area for dining - this is currently cleared out. We welcome a table if you have one, but if not, we will be getting one. Our last housemate took hers that fit well in the space. The dining area does have an additional freezer and cabinet. The rent includes all utilities: electric, gas, heat, hot water, and wifi. The router is in the room for rent. Sorry, NO PETS.

Neighborhood: super residential street with a Key Foods minutes away, lots of bars / shops / restaurants nearby. There’s a laundromat a quick walk away. Parking is good if you have a car. Fort Greene Park is maybe a 10-15min walk. The nearest train is about 12min walk - the G.

About This Lister

We do not spend full time at the apartment currently. But this could change dependent on job schedule and we will communicate that with you. I work from home and when I am at the apartment am typically on work calls. We are communicative and considerate and ask the same of a housemate.

We enjoy watching TV, cooking dinner, hanging outside when it’s nice out, and going to diners for breakfast. We are a “take your shoes off” household - the streets of NYC of dirty!

Who we are looking for: respectful, friendly, considerate, tidy and clean, communicative person who is fine to be on their own or to themselves. We don’t need to become best friends, but would be cool to hang out too! If you are out 7 nights a week: good for you! As long as you are respectful of the space, and quiet when you come home, we good!
