Welcome to my gorgeous Bed-Stuy oasis — a calm, comfortable retreat after a day out in the city.

Located near the corner of Macon and Patchen, just a short stroll to Strathcona Park, this beautifully-appointed apartment is on the parlour floor of a classic brownstone with a coded entry. It features central heating and air conditioning, in-unit laundry, and a lovely private patio with a gas grill.

The apartment can be set up as a one-bedroom with an office (as pictured) or converted into a two-bedroom with a double mattress in the office/studio (see last photo).

Available: June 16–22. Also available for July 15-31st, and for parts of August for those interested in repeat stays.

The kitchen is state-of-the-art and fully equipped — perfect for cooking at home. It includes a Rancilio espresso machine, Vitamix blender, dishwasher, and generous counter space.

The living area features a projector and Apple TV with a pull-down screen for cozy movie nights. You’ll also find plenty of books, records, and a record player to enjoy.

The office is outfitted with two desks and several musical instruments, should inspiration strike. As mentioned, it can easily be converted into a second bedroom upon request.

Oh, and yes — there's a washer and dryer in the unit, high-speed internet throughout, and friendly, respectful neighbors in one of Brooklyn’s most vibrant and welcoming neighborhoods. Parks, coffee shops, groceries, bars, and more are just around the corner.

A $200 cleaning fee applies to all stays.

I’m Jessie (she/her), and I happily own and live in this apartment with my partner. I’m a PhD student, teacher, and musician; he’s a filmmaker and educator.

We’ll be out of town during the sublet period, but I’ll have a designated point person nearby in case anything comes up. I’ll also be fully reachable by phone throughout your stay.
