I will be away and can sublet my apartment in the UES, Yorkville, in a nice, clean and lively tree-lined street, 4 blocks from Schurz Park and 5 blocks from Central Park, Met Museum. The building has security cameras and digital video intercom, no doorman, live in super. The apartment has its original art deco charm (molding, sconces, original sinks in kitchen and bath. All rooms have windows, including the bathroom (another prewar nice detail).
It is a 1 bed (two windows), a bath with bathtub, living room (two windows), eat-in kitchen, laundry in basement, TV in bedroom, some closet space dedicated to you. No pets live in the apartment. Non-smoking unit.
I plan to share it for the full summer (June-October)- Ideally I would like to access it and stay in it 3 or 4 days a month, dates to be arranged age with the tenant; if this arrangement works there will be a discounted rate.
The apartment is clean, not cluttered, comfortable and spacious for one; very comfy bed. Ground floor. 1 ½ block to Q train, 3 blocks to 4, 5, 6. Plenty of restaurants and nightlife around, but not on this street, so it is silent at night time. There is a quaint church across the street, citibikes in the corner, etc etc.
