The studio is on the 3rd floor. It’s large (533 square feet), south-facing, quiet, and looks onto trees (not the street), with a walk-in closet, plus two smaller closets in the main living area. Floors are hardwood, and there’s central air, plus floor-to-ceiling windows. Five-burner Bosch gas range and a quiet Bosch dishwasher. The kitchen has tons of storage. The bathroom is large with a deep soaking tub and rain shower. Free laundry in the basement.

There is beautiful, custom-built shelving and a hand-made Shaker-style peg rail in the living area/walk-in closet, but otherwise the apartment comes unfurnished.

The building has a video intercom, is cleaned weekly, and can be conveniently entered with a code (or key).

Saratoga Park is around the corner, along with great cafes and restaurants (September, Cuts n Slices, Olmo, Badaboom, Textbook, and lots more as you walk west). The neighborhood is beautiful and residential, with easy access to groceries, subway, etc.

Renter must be non-smoking (the building is entirely smoke-free), and no pets, please.

I'm a novelist, with a day-job in publishing, and I own the studio. I'll show the place myself (either virtually or in person, whatever works for you).

I'll be living close-by and will respond quickly to any concerns (no management company to deal with and I’m quick to handle anything). I've happily lived in the apartment, and am really fond of it, so I'm hoping to rent it out to someone who will take good care of it.
