Offering an unfurnished room in a large 2br 1ba Prospect Heights apartment. Apartment is a third floor walk-up. Ideally Dec 1 or 15 start date, but could start Jan 1 if needed. The rent is $2150, but there may be some flexibility for the right person.

The room is 216 sq ft room with a spacious walk-in closet and 2 north facing windows on a quiet residential street. Current tenant easily fits a queen size bed, large desk, piano, dresser and bookshelf in the room.

The apartment is around 750 sq feet total. It has a giant living room with room for a full-size couch, dining room table, tv, etc. and 3 windows. Please note that the living room furniture pictured may change when my current roommate moves out as a lot of it is hers. We’ll have the chance to figure out the new common space vibes together!
Our kitchen has a dishwasher and updated appliances. Bathroom has a bathtub + shower. My friends have remarked that we have the “largest bathroom in Brooklyn”.

There is also a large linen closet in the bathroom and a coat closet in the living room - plenty of storage space :-) we’ve even figured out how to store some items in the building basement.

Building has very friendly doormen, laundry in basement, and bike storage in courtyard. The neighbors are all very nice.

Apartment is located on Prospect between Underhill and Washington. We’re a 7 minute walk from the 2/3, 8 minute walk from the B/Q, and 11 minute walk from the C. There is also a Citi bike station immediately outside the building. Close to Prospect Park, the Botanic Gardens, all the restaurants on Vanderbilt and Washington Avenues - it’s a great area!

You would share this apartment with one other person (me). Looking for someone who is LGBTQ+ friendly, neat, respectful, communicative, and ideally works hybrid or in-person. Hoping we can live semi-communally - occasionally cook dinner, watch a show, play a game together, share some things. I’ve been friends with many of my past roommates and would like to keep the good vibes going! My current roommate and I met via Listings Project and have lived together for nearly two years. I’m hopeful that I’ll meet another great roommate through this community!
