Hello!

My name is Madi, I'm 29 and looking for a place. I just got here 3 weeks ago and am in a weekly sublet currently but looking for something more stable!

Would love to start Oct 1/asap but open to mid-October or Nov 1 as well.

A 1 bedroom/studio apartment would be a dream (I prefer townhouses/houses) or an unfurnished room in the right spot. I'm open to short term subletting (3-6~ months), m2m (preferable), renting for 6 months or a year, or lease takeover.

I have a small dog, Mochi, and my cat, Asher. They are both very chill, sweet pets. I'd love to find a peaceful, chill place for them.

I'm interested in the East Side of LA but open to mostly everywhere as I still am learning LA. A quieter, chill spot is mostly my goal. I lived in Greenpoint in BK and loved it so much. I don't want to go somewhere very loud and urban feeling.

(Eagle Rock, Glassell Park, Highland Park, Los Feliz, Atwater Village, Pasadena, Echo Park, East Hollywood, potentially North Hollywood, etc.)

My price range is up to $1650. Potentially flexible for the right spot.

Great amenities for me would include:
-light and windows
-backyard or walkable neighborhood for my dog and I is huge
-washer/dryer

As a roommate I appreciate being able to co-exist with my roommates and communicate. I enjoy spending time by myself and am introverted but also love hanging out from time to time! I don't mind if people are over and am pretty lax, just want mutual respect for each other :)

I've worked at a rock climbing gym for 6 years and in production for 2 and have come west for more nature access as well as to pursue a Master's/figure out my next move.

I love rock climbing, exercise, hiking, making vegan dishes, hanging out with my dog, the ocean, going to the movies, drawing, playing my guitar, reading, and generally doing anything creative/focused around wellness.

I can be reserved but also sociable! I love making friends :)
