We're looking to sublet our whole apartment for the last 2 weeks of August, starting on the 18th of the month. You'll be staying in a clean, fully furnished 2-bed, 2-bath apartment with plenty of natural light coming in through large windows facing Tompkins Ave. It's perfect if you're friends or a small family looking for a place in NYC to stay. Both rooms have their own bathroom, one of them with a shower and the other with a bath. We're subletting because we'll both be outside of the city these weeks, and we're looking for clean, tidy and non-smoking folks!
Apartment Features:
• The apartment: The rooms and the apartment are newly and fully furnished. There are AC's in each room and two AC's in the living room. Shared spaces include a cozy living area with a work desk, a dining area, and a kitchen.
• Building amenities: The building has an elevator and many amenities, including a laundry room, a gym, a quiet study space, a recreational game room, and a mail room. You also have access to two spacious terraces -- one on our floor, and one on the rooftop.
Location & Transportation:
• Prime Location – Situated right next to a park and supermarket in a lively, walkable, and biker-friendly neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, trendy cafes, and convenience stores nearby.
• Subway lines nearby: A and C lines are all within 5-10 minute walk.

About This Lister

My housemate and I are both journalists in our late 20s. Over the past year, we've enjoyed designing our shared apartment space in a way that feels contemporary and cozy. We'll both be traveling most of August, which is why we're looking to sublet the whole apartment for the second half of August, and think it'd be perfect for friends or a small family looking to stay in a nice Brooklyn neighborhood during those dates. We hope to find folks who will be respectful towards the space. No smoking.
