Scandinavian Designer Gem in the East Village

I am an artist and this is my completely renovated East Village mini-loft apartment.

This is truly a New York gem with a Scandinavian aesthetic that comes through in every detail. With light from two directions, the apartment has a serene and calming vibe and is carefully curated with works of art and mid century furniture. The main social area has a dining table that seats six as well as a daybed and large coffee table. The light-filled and airy bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed as well as a second seating area with a sofa.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with gas stove, dishwasher and washer. The marble bath has a shower and all new fixtures.

The best feature may be the light and silky-smooth wood floor so soft underfoot.

I am an artist and illustrator based in New York City. I’m into art, architecture and design.

As a self-diagnosed clean-freak, and being that I’m raised in Sweden, I take my shoes off by the door and I’d prefer a tenant with similar habits.

The building is a small, self-managed, owner-occupied co-op building from 1903. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor (walk-up/no elevator).

I will show the space myself and introduce you to neighbors via email.
