I'll be out of my apartment for at least three months, with the possibility of one or two more. I'm looking for someone reliable and responsible and quiet to rent it while I'm away.
It's a walkup on the third (top) floor of an old building with lots of character: hardwood floors, tin ceilings, lots of light, and a fair bit of space. There's a nice, big, well-equipped eat-in kitchen, and a whole lot of books and plants. I've been here for almost a decade, and I love it.
The building is very close to both the G and L trains in a quieter, more neighborhoody corner of Williamsburg. It's close to McCarren Park and Cooper Park, and everything you need (restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, a farmer's market) is nearby.
I'm a professor of literature at an experimental school and a pretty quiet and tidy person. I like plants; I like food. I think the apartment reflects all of that. I use he/him pronouns.
I'm looking for someone who can use the space, keep my plants alive, and keep the peace with my neighbors and landlady -- i.e., someone quiet and reliable.
If you're interested, please reach out with a bit of information about yourself. Convince me I can trust you!
