We’re excited to offer the entire 3rd floor of our 1820 farmhouse. The property sits on 3.5 peaceful acres between Beacon and Fishkill, just off I-84 and Route 52, and about an 8-minute drive to the Beacon Metro-North station.

The top floor is a private, fully furnished space within our home. It includes a cozy living room, kitchenette, bathroom, and two bedrooms—perfect for someone looking for a quiet, creative-friendly retreat. The 3.5-acre grounds include two large barns that can be used as an art studio, wood/metal workspace, or for storage.

Please note: the 3rd floor is private but not a separate apartment. You’ll share the main entrance, staircase, and hallways with us, and you’re welcome to use the laundry room on the first floor.

About This Lister

We’re a married male couple in our 40s and 50s, working in advertising and education. We bought this farmhouse in 2016 and have been slowly and lovingly renovating it ever since. We like to keep our home clean, quiet, and peaceful, but we also love sharing it with friends, neighbors, and the wonderful renters who’ve stayed with us over the years.

We live full-time on the property and commute into NYC regularly. We’re easygoing, respectful, and appreciate people who value a considerate, harmonious living environment.

We also share the property with two very sweet animals: a small longhaired dachshund (Betty) and an outdoor ginger tabby cat (Luke). Neither will have access to the 3rd-floor space.
