I'm subletting my cozy 1 bedroom apartment. It's a private garden suite walkout in a detached brick house nestled on a hill. The house is on a quiet, tree lined street steps away from Highland Park (great tennis courts, disc golf, walking and biking around the Ridgewood Reservoir, and more). It's a super convenient location, 7 minutes from the Van Siclen J stop and 12 minutes from the Bushwick-Aberdeen L stop. Adjacent to Bushwick and Ridgewood. Ideal for someone who wants convenient access to the city, but wants a quiet, peaceful spot to come home to.

The apartment is equipped with
- A bedroom with a super comfy queen sized bed
- Shelving, hangers and clothing storage space that will be cleared for subletters
- A large desk with an external monitor and Yamaha pro audio monitors
- A midcentury daybed with extra bedding for guests
- A turntable and a decent record collection that you are welcome to use (mostly folk rock, punk and power pop)

- A full, well equipped kitchen and dining table
- An AC unit
- WiFi
- A mud room for coat/shoe storage

The entrance to the apartment is off the rear of the house, which is accessed through a gated entry. There is a small step down to get into the unit, but otherwise it's at ground level.

I'm a professor at NYU and I'll be travelling for the summer, and I'll be clearing a lot of my personal belongings before leaving. You can expect a clean space. I am close with the owners who live upstairs, and I'm looking for subletters that will be quiet, clean and respectful.
