5th-floor walk-up (no elevator)
Lease takeover — current tenant relocating out of town for a new job.
This south-facing, top-floor studio gets excellent natural light and is surprisingly quiet, especially for such a central location. The apartment has hardwood floors throughout and a thoughtfully laid-out two-room studio setup that creates a nice separation between the kitchen and living space. Heat and hot water are included in the rent.
The open eat-in kitchen includes full-size appliances, room for a dining table or extra storage, and a brand-new Whirlpool refrigerator (not pictured). The main living area comfortably fits a queen-size bed, dresser, desk, and entertainment setup, making it easy to create distinct zones for sleeping, working, and relaxing.
Some furniture and storage items can be left if helpful, including:
- Kitchen island
- Closet storage unit
- Bed
- Bathroom storage solutions
The location is truly hard to beat. The apartment is at W 46th Street & 9th Avenue in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen, just steps from Broadway theaters, Restaurant Row, great bars and restaurants, and a short walk to the Hudson River waterfront for running, biking, and sunsets. Multiple subway lines (A, C, E, B, D, 1, N, R) and nearby buses make getting around the city easy.
I’m a working professional relocating out of town for a new job. I’ve taken good care of the apartment and am looking for a responsible, respectful subtenant to take over the remainder of the lease.
Some furniture and storage items can be left for the next tenant if desired; any items left would become the responsibility of the subtenant and would need to be removed at the end of the lease. I’m happy to answer questions and help make the transition as smooth as possible.
