Hi,

I’m leaving NYC end of May so we are looking for someone to take over my room.

The apartment is large, calm and luminous.
There is an elevator which brings you directly into the apartment. The building is very calm, 4 floors in total and the apartment is on the 3rd floor.
There is a super available on site to address any concerns.

The place is shared with one roommate: Daphne, 32yo, very friendly, respectful and nice person who has been in the apartment for 3 years.

The apartment is located in Williamsburg, 10 mins from Bedford Av subway (L line) and 1 min from Domino park. It’s a great neighbordhood with a lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Whole foods and trader joes are 5 mins away.

The apartment is a 2B2B.
The 2 bedrooms are at the opposite of each other so it’s an ideal set up.

The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, oven, coffee machine, stove, oven etc..

The living room is next to the kitchen with a large couch, TV, large windows and a little balcony.

The room is a good size with an integrated dressing.

The private bathroom is large with a bath
and includes a washer/dryer to share with Daphne.

The apartment is quite chill. If we want to invite some people at home we always ask each other in advance to make sure it’s not a bother.

For cleaning, each roommate takes care of cleaning when needed and we sometimes have a cleaning person come.

We are ideally looking for a woman, someone who's not home 24/7. Respectful of common spaces. The other roommate is French / American and we've had a lot of Europeans living here which culturally seems like a good fit for living together but obviously not tide to it.

Preference will be that I sell the furnitures to the next person (bed, mattress, side table, lamp etc..).

ABOUT ME: I'm Manon, I'm French and came here for 1.5 years on a work visa and am moving back to Paris. I have LOVED living in this apartment, not only because the place is pretty special but also have really enjoyed living with Daphne.
ABOUT DAPHNE (who you'd be living with): 32 years old, she has been in NYC for 14 years. She was born and raised in France but is half American. She consults on different projects and used to run an events company. She is very social so is often out and about but also has made it a point to put care into the design of the apartment. She is easy going, and doesn't mind if people come stay if friends or family come visit as long as she's given a heads up. She's prefer living with another woman but is not closed to someone else if it's the right fit. We keep the apartment clean and once in a while have a cleaning person come for a deep clean. Daphne has lived in the apartment for 3 years and took over the lease from her previous roommate who had been there for 6 + years.
