My roommate Des and I are looking to fill TWO ROOMS in our Bushwick apartment for a JULY 1 move-in.

ROOM 1: $1200, smaller, room for a full bed and a dresser. Private heat/AC controls. Window to ventilation shaft.

ROOM 2: $1450, good size, room for full bed, desk, dresser, private exit to the backyard

LOCATION: Five-minute walk from the L and the M at Myrtle Wyckoff. Three minutes from Bushwick's best almond croissant at L'impremerie. Ten minutes from Maria Hernandez Park. Close to all the arts and culture Bushwick has to offer.

I’ve loved living in this apartment and it really feels like home. It's great to enjoy the roof and the trees and furniture of the backyard on a summer day. I love having a spare room for creative projects. And I can't overstate how awesome it is to have full size washer/dryer and dishwasher in NYC. Plus, there's heat and AC in every room, which is clutch all seasons.

Every time someone comes over they say some version of "Whoa, this feels like a house!" Or "I can't believe you have all this space." And they are right! I'm not sure I've been in any other apartments with as much space (outdoor/indoor) as we have here.

This is a 4BR / 3BA. As mentioned above, we have a rooftop, washer/dryer, backyard, dishwasher, AC and a finished basement with a workout area and a bonus room for your creative projects.

I'm a writer and Des works in catering.

We’re friendly, clean, and pretty low-key—we love a kitchen chat but mostly keep to ourselves.

This isn’t a party house, and we’re hoping to keep the energy easy and grounded.

No pets—we already have one very sweet, very elderly dog who runs the house.
