Bushwick Summer Sublet

Rooms for Sublet

$1,300/month

Available

May 29, 2026 - September 4, 2026

Neighborhood

Bushwick, Brooklyn

Hi, my name is Eve, I’m graduating at the end of May and will be on the West Coast for the summer. I’m looking to sublet my room from as early as May 22 through September 5 (exact dates are flexible).

The Room & Apartment:
The room gets great natural light from a large window and comes fully furnished with a queen-sized bed and custom closet organization. I’ll clear out my personal items so there’s plenty of closet and dresser space (yes, including my tchotchkes lol).

The apartment is split-level (4th floor walk-up, with the upper level on the 5th floor). Downstairs includes your room, another bedroom, a bathroom, kitchen, small living room, and a balcony. Upstairs has a third bedroom, a larger living room/workspace, and a second, larger balcony.

Central AC throughout the apartment.
Washer/dryer in unit. Street parking available. About a 10-minute walk to the J or M train.

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, and appliances, and we have extra bedding and towels if needed. You’ll also have access to my upstairs office/workspace. One of the best things about the apartment is that there’s plenty of space to hang out or have quiet time.

It’s a three-person apartment sharing one bathroom and kitchen, but it’s worked well since everyone has different schedules. There’s also a small kitchenette setup upstairs for added convenience.

There is space to store a bike inside if you’re comfortable carrying it up the stairs.

The Roommates:
Jonathon (30s) works from home and is a big film person—he’s a great roommate and friend.
Lisa also works from home upstairs, is often out and about, but always down for cooking or hanging out.

Both keep fairly regular 9–5 schedules, so a respectful and relatively quiet home environment during working hours is important.

We usually have a “house watch” going—right now it’s The Pitt, previously Downton Abbey.

Additional Notes:
A big plus if you’re willing to water some of the larger plants in my room—and if you enjoy gardening, you’re welcome to use the balcony pots.

Guests are welcome, and we want you to feel at home, but we’re looking to keep overnight guests occasional rather than frequent.

Quiet hours are after 10:30pm.
Smoking of any kind is only permitted on the balconies.

Rent & Details:
Rent is $1,300/month, with a $1,300 deposit (returned at the end of the sublet).
Utilities are typically around $75/month but may increase during peak summer heat.

A credit check is required, but don’t let less-than-perfect credit discourage you from reaching out—I understand that things happen.

Looking for:
Someone kind, clean, communicative, and respectful of shared space.

No pets, unfortunately.

Happy to share photos and more details—feel free to reach out!
