PLEASE NOTE: PET CARE REQUIRED FOR THIS SUBLET
Hello! I’m traveling from June 21 to July 11 and am offering my furnished space at a reduced rate in exchange for catsitting my sweet 13-year-old tuxedo cat, Trumer. (Rent is usually $4,100 a month.)
Located on N. 10th and Berry, this charming 1-bed, 1-bath apartment is right on the border between Williamsburg and Greenpoint, just a couple blocks from McCarren Park and the East River waterfront—close to all the action, yet quiet and serene. You’re a couple blocks away from the Bedford L, one stop away from Manhattan, and a quick walk to the Nassau G. There’s a Citibike station right across the street.
The apartment is on the top floor of a three-story walk-up (up two flights of stairs). The 1910 building features hardwood floors and vintage charm. It gets a ton of light, and the spacious bedroom looks out over neighboring backyards. There’s a WFH setup in the living room, plus free laundry and bike storage in the basement. Wi-Fi and utilities are included.
The area is super convenient, with Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, CVS, and lots of great bars, cafes, restaurants, shops, gyms, and entertainment within easy walking distance.
Trumer is super friendly and easy to take care of, and objectively a very handsome boy. He has hyperthyroidism, which involves putting medication in his food each morning and night. Because of this, I ask that you’re able to stay for the full window, or very close to it. No other pets, please. I keep the space shoe-free, and being able to take care of plants is a plus :)
I’m a writer originally from California.
Full rent and security deposit required upfront. In your response, please let me know what your experience is with cats :)
