We're both relocating and looking for great tenants to take over our beloved Williamsburg apartment! Our landlord has agreed to offer a new lease to the right people at $3,600/month (down from the $3,750 they charge for equivalent units this year).
The Space:
The apartment is located in a 2nd-floor walk-up and features beautiful exposed brick walls, hardwood floors throughout, a fire escape to hang out on, and fantastic morning light in both bedrooms and living areas. The kitchen has granite countertops and all appliances including a dishwasher. The living room is connected to the kitchen, so it's great for cooking with friends!
The larger bedroom comfortably fits a bed and workspace, and the smaller bedroom is cozy. Both bedrooms have large closets and dedicated exits to the fire escape.
There is a great full bathroom with a tub, and ample additional storage throughout.
Building & Landlord:
8-unit building with laundry in the basement and an incredibly responsive landlord who actually fixes things quickly and keeps rent increases reasonable. We've had a great experience here for years.
Location:
Only 10 minutes walking to multiple subway lines - L train at Lorimer or Montrose, G at Lorimer or Broadway, and J/M at Lorimer. The B48 bus stops right nearby. You're walking distance to McCarren Park, amazing coffee shops, restaurants, and all the best of Williamsburg. If you have a car, the street has back-in parking spots that make life much easier.
Bonus:
Most of our furniture is available for purchase at very reasonable prices!
We're two roommates who have absolutely loved living here! One of us is moving in with their partner, and the other is relocating out of the city. We are hoping to find people who will appreciate this apartment as much as we have. We're happy to answer any questions and help with the transition to make sure our beloved home goes to the right hands!
New tenants will need to apply through the landlord's portal to undergo a standard background check and show an income of 40x rent.
Per the lease, pets require the landlord's approval. We had no issues getting approval for our cat!
