A whole floor of a building -- lots of space for 1 or more person. The apartment is located in the heart of Bed-Stuy -- great location to get to Manhattan from, right off Nostrand A/C (less than 30 minutes to Manhattan), surrounded by grocery stores and lots of coffee shops, and about a 35 minute walk to Prospect Park. It’s in a busy, bustling area near Bedford and Fulton Aves. This area can be noisy during the day. Street noise is sometimes audible from the living room, while the rest of the house is quiet.

This apartment is up 2 sets of stairs. Once inside the space, there is a large entrance room, which I use as a library and dressing room, a large, sunny living room, a dining room, and bedroom located at the back of the house.

The dining room can double as a workspace, I can also leave my printer here at your request.

There is a closet in the bedroom with fresh towels, linens, extra pillows and blankets. There is a fire escape off of the bedroom.

The kitchen is located beside the bedroom, it is spacious and includes all cooking appliances and utensils needed for your stay including a large boos block butchers table, juicer, blender and cast iron cook wear.

The bathroom has a large tub.

The apartment gets lots of all-day natural light, there are also built in bookshelves, closets and light shafts among other charming vintage details.

The apartment comes with a portable washing machine/ dryer which I've found to be sufficient for all my laundry needs. I also have A/C Units for the rooms for the summer months.

The space is furnished, clean and clutter free. I will have a professional cleaner come before your stay.

I'm looking for someone who is low maintenance,
clean and tidy, and who can water my plants while I'm away. No shoes in the house please and no loud/ large gatherings.

All utilities (electricity, heat, hot water, internet, gas) are included in the monthly rent. I’m also happy to pay my cleaner come on a monthly basis to keep the place spic and span.

When you email, please include a bit about yourself, what you'll be doing here (visiting/here for work etc.) and social links if you are comfortable so that I can get a better sense of who you are. I’m planning to schedule viewings this Thursday and Friday. Happy to do a FaceTime walk-through as well.

I'm the lease holder, an artist who travels a lot for work. My partner is an architect and we split our time between NYC and London, UK. I adore my apartment and have put a lot of love into making it a cozy home filled with good energy! I'm looking forward to have someone in my space who will be respectful of my things, who will enjoy the warmth of the space, and who hopefully loves books, plants and art.

I have the most amazing (upstairs and downstairs) neighbors in the world. We have a group text thread in case anyone gets locked out, needs a hand or needs to give a heads up about anything. As I'll be in London during the duration of the sublet, I'd hope to be able to connect my subletter to my neighbors in case anything comes up.
