For 100 years, artists have fled New York City in the summer. Be a part of that tradition in our artist-built, artist-owned Woodstock retreat. Our house is part of the original Maverick Artist Colony, built by Hervey White in 1919, and occupied by actors, composers, visual artists, and sculptors for decades.

We rebuilt the place by hand five years ago. We have two bedrooms. One features a queen-sized bed and a vaulted ceiling. The other is a cozy little space with a double bed. There's also a big living room with a media area, a full bathroom with a clawfoot tub, a dining room, and a glorious kitchen with wrap-around windows and skylights that make it glow.

You can open the windows and listen to the birds, or cool the whole place down with central AC. We're stocked with local books, and art by Woodstock artists covers the walls. There's a bluestone patio and grill.

This is a special place. We're neighbors with the incredible Maverick Concert Hall, and exactly two miles from the Village Green in Woodstock. The Ashokan Rail Trail is one mile away, and we're surrounded by the glories of the Catskills.
