I'm subletting my adorable Spanish bungalow for a few months. I live in the desirable Mount Washington neighborhood on a quiet street at the top of 27 steps. It's a one bathroom, one-bedroom house that has an office that could be used as a second bedroom. I have two lots with a deck and three patios to enjoy the birds and lush greenery. The house is fully furnished, and has a private garage.
My house is 5 minute walk to a metro line, and a 20 minute walk to restaurants, coffee shops, music and markets in Highland Park. It's a short drive to South Pasadena, Pasadena, Eagle Rock, Atwater, Echo Park and downtown.

I am recently retired from the LA Unified School District and am very active in economic, racial and education justice issues. I love nature and have two senior dogs.
Lister's Relationship to the Space
I bought my house in 2001 and have lived here ever since. I love my neighborhood! this is the first and only house I have ever owned. I love it dearly.
Rental requirements
This is my home, so i'm looking for someone who will treat it gently, and will help keep full the bowls of water for birds, bees and other critters. Most of the plants are on an irrigation system but some potted plants need hand-watering.
Pets Policy
This is a perfect place for dogs. Cats are welcome too but be aware there are quite a few coyotes in these hills.
