I’m subletting my spacious 1BR (1,000 sq ft) in a beautiful old brownstone on Washington Ave. The apartment has tons of charm and character — original crown molding, big windows, high ceilings, and I’ve got the whole first floor to myself, so it’s quiet and cozy. There’s plenty of room to spread out, with a large bedroom, queen bed (the dresser and closet will be emptied out for you to store clothing) and large living/dining room for dinners and/or working from home (I’ll leave a monitor for you). Also a projector, record player, and Bluetooth speaker system for movies or listening to music.
It's under a 10 minute walk to Fort Greene Park and right off DeKalb with great restaurants minutes away (Roman’s, Sailor, Evelina, Saraghina). A great place to be on a Saturday for the farmer's market!
It's a peaceful spot with easy access to everything and less than a minute to the G train at Clinton-Washington. Looking to sublet to someone who will treat it with care.
I'll be in London so open to swapping if you're the unicorn I'm looking for, otherwise looking to do $1K week and open to discussing if some but not all three weeks work for you.
All utilities are included. I'm looking for someone who will care for and be kind to my home and plants while I'm traveling.
I'm in my mid-30's, live alone and have been living in Brooklyn for 13 years (in Clinton Hill neighborhood for 5+, in this very apartment!). I'm the head of digital at a big human rights non profit, avid cyclist, ceramicist, and beekeeper. I'm a bit of a neatfreak so my apartment is quite clean and organized.
$1000 deposit and I have a template agreement I'll want you to sign!
I don't have pets but if you do and you're interested, let's talk!
