Welcome to Miramonte Terrace, our dreamy LA apartment right in the heart of the city's Koreatown neighborhood! New York meets Paris, but with SoCal flair!

The details: this is a 1,500-square-foot 1.5-bedroom/1.5-bathroom apartment with tons of historic charm — crown moldings, period light fixtures, tons of built-in shelves, a decorative fireplace, and a balcony overlooking a beguiling intersection with lovely architecture and, beyond that, cityscape and the Hollywood hills.

There is one full bedroom and an office with a pull-out bed that can easily be used as a 2nd bedroom. We have a full bathroom with tub/shower plus a powder room.

When you enter, you're met with a long hallway with plentiful built-ins that leads to the main space — an oversized living and dining room that features 8+ windows (east, west, north exposures) that flood the space with light all day and look out onto lovely treetops. It's here that there's a small north-facing terrace where you can have coffee or a meal or read a book and enjoy the plentiful sunshine. All windows have built-in screens for fresh air and wooden blinds for days when it's too sunny. We also have window AC units in the bedroom and living/dining space for hot days (though opening windows for a cross breeze usually works). There is also a wall heater for the winter months.

Tons of closet space throughout. The bedroom features an enormous closet (hanging rod plus built-in shelves).

The kitchen comes with plenty of storage and prep space, a stove, microwave, and dishwasher. We like to cook and it has been a wonderful place to do so.

*Laundry is in the building (not the unit).

*Two off-street, gated parking spots. They are tandem: One inside a garage, one in front.

*Utilities not included.

The building is 100 years old and has 16 units. It sits on a gated lawn, which is a great place to relax. There is a covered outdoor space on the roof that is shared. A BBQ with a table is out back.

WE PREFER a long-term, leased renter. We just had a couple spend the last two years there, and they loved it -- their family is growing, hence the move.

The neighborhood is ideal — Koreatown is a 15-20 minute drive to everywhere you want to be: Los Feliz/Silverlake, Downtown, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills/Century City, and you're right off the 10 Freeway, which takes you right to the beach. You're a 10-minute walk from the Wilshire/Western subway stop, and there are plentiful bus stops nearby. Koreatown is also incredibly walkable - the Korean market H Mart is across the street and Ralphs is 10 10-minute walk, as are many restaurants and coffee shops and bars.

We'd prefer to rent the unit furnished (as seen in these photos). We are open to discussing alternative arrangements. We'd like to do a FaceTime "meeting" (or IRL if you are in New York). And we'd like you to sign a standard lease!

We moved here in 2020 and love, love LOVE this place but job opportunities brought us back to New York. We love city life - theatre, art galleries, outdoors stuff, trying restaurants, etc.

Our hope is to one day move back to LA, but we're not sure when that will be. In the meantime, we've settled in Brooklyn, New York. Our ideal tenant is someone interested in a long-term (at least 1 year) lease in a furnished apartment. However, we're open to a variety of situations, so please feel free to reach out.
