Come stay in a gorgeous stand-alone bungalow "cottage" in a highly walkable part of one of Los Angeles's best neighborhoods, Highland Park.

Fully furnished & located within a 7-unit property with a secure gate, fire pit, garden beds & more, the space is a great blend of private, secluded, secure & charming.

The interior space is 600sq ft in total with one large dining/living room complete with a comfy couch, desk, dining area, media cabinet & cozy reading nook. The kitchen has everything you need (dishwasher, oven, refrig/freezer & compost system). The bedroom is cozy & includes ample room for clothing & storage w/ a big closet, armoire & standing coat rack. Additional amenities for use include record player, sonos system & in-unit washer/dryer!

The cottage itself sits behind personal hedges that enclose it almost entirely creating a nice, private space complete with a coffee table right outside the kitchen door. The other neighbors in the other 6 units in the enclosed property are very friendly & often host pizza party nights for everyone. A great way to make new friends! A few outdoor cats roam around the shared outdoor space too FYI.

The bungalow is extremely walkable - 5mins to Figueroa & 10mins to York. You can walk to many coffee shops (Civil Coffee, Comet over Delphi, Go Get em Tiger & more!), yoga and pilates studios, a grocery store (Cookbook), many bars, restaurants, etc. The Downtown metro train system is within a 5 min walk for easy public transit access. This is a great place to get easy access to one of Los Angeles's most hip & sought after neighborhoods.

No parking included but ample street parking available right out front. All utilities & additional fees included in rent (AC, heating, trash, water, etc).

About This Lister

I'm a mid 30's creative entrepreneur female who is taking a break from LA to travel for a few months after shutting down a business I've been running locally for the last 5 years. I will be subleasing my own rental space. I love learning about different cultures & traveling so my space is filled with unique pieces & furniture that I've picked up over the years. I cook a lot (I love food & bev!) so my kitchen has everything you need to whip up a great meal && some lovely spots (indoors & outdoors) to enjoy them. I am very big on being clean & well-organized. I expect my tenant to care for everything as if it was there own. They are welcome to use a lot of the amenities (record player, kitchen appliances, Sonos system, etc) as long as they do so with care. I will be the direct POC for all issues & questions regarding the space.
