There's a laundromat across the street on Avenue A (no washer/dryer in unit). Fourth floor of an elevator building. It's usually very quiet because the windows overlook the roof of another building.

The East Village is a vibrant, super walkable neighborhood that has everything you could need. Between the bus, train, Citibike, and where you can walk, we find we can get everywhere we need to easily. The night life and restaurants are superb and always busy. The apartment is a block away from Tompkins Square Park, three avenues from the East River and track, a short walk to the Lower East Side and Soho.
