This ground-floor unit is one of eight in a beautiful historic house just two blocks from Freret Street (only a few minutes of walking to reach grocery stores, cafes, gyms, shops, bars, a pool club, and restaurants).
The space includes a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, spacious living/dining area, as well as a porch. Perfect for one person or a couple! The space will be fully furnished and storage spaces will be set aside for the tenant's use.
The kitchen is fully-equipped and there is a washer/dryer in unit. The tenant would also have access to off-street parking (a rare find in these parts).
Depending on the length of the rental period, I'm willing to discuss use of car and/or bike in exchange for watering plants in my absence as well as potentially feeding two very low-key stray cats who hang around the property.
Hi there! My name is Emily and I'm a high school French teacher who's been living very happily in the wonderful city of New Orleans for the last few years. I've totally fallen in love with the unique nature of the city as well as its population, just about the most open and inclusive people I've ever met.
I get to travel for work leading exchange trips during the summer and would love for my apartment to not go to waste during my absence.
All I ask is that the tenant be willing to FaceTime to be able to look around the place, ask any questions/discuss all the details, and demonstrate they are genuinely willing to take good care of the place during the rental period.
I'm open to discussing a pet in the space
