Yes, friends—it’s me again…
My subletter had to cancel last minute, so I’m looking for someone to enjoy my cozy studio while I’m away in Europe for a few months (possibly longer—happy to discuss!). It’s a warm, lived-in space with high ceilings that give it an open, airy feel, and a rare private backyard—perfect for morning coffee, a quiet read, or just getting a bit of fresh air.
The location is incredibly convenient. You’re close to the Q and 4/5/6 trains, the 86th Street crosstown bus, and the ferry for easy trips to Brooklyn, Astoria, or downtown. Central Park is just a short walk away, and Carl Schurz Park is right nearby, so there’s no shortage of green space. The neighborhood also has plenty of great restaurants, cafés, and easy places to unwind.
Since I’m currently out of the country, we’d connect over FaceTime to walk through the apartment and get to know each other a bit. I’m hoping to find someone responsible, considerate, and low-key—someone who’ll treat the space with care. No pets or parties, please. Ideally, you’d be able to stay for the full duration.
I’ll cover the internet, and you’d take care of gas and electric, which usually comes out to around $75, depending on AC usage.
If this sounds like a good fit, let me know your earliest move-in date and how long you’re hoping to stay.
Looking forward to connecting soon!
I’m a writer turned farmer (long story...), and I’ll be out of town for a few weeks to be with my family in Europe.
I really love my apartment and would like to find someone who is quiet, neat, and a good communicator to take care of it while I'm away. Ideally, I’m looking for someone who is drama-free and honest (it's wild out there, friends...)
If you think you might be a good fit, I’d love to meet you digitally and arrange a showing with a friend of mine. Looking forward to connecting!
