Spacious, minimalist, light-drenched 1BR apartment located in the wonderful Hamilton Park neighborhood of Jersey City. It's on the 3rd floor of a 4-story walk-up building on a beautiful tree-lined street, and each floor only has one unit so it's very calm and private.
As a railroad-style apartment, it's both street-facing (north) and courtyard-facing (south) which guarantees plenty of sunlight. It consists of six main spaces:
1) Bright dining area with a marble dining table and two large windows facing the courtyard. The dining room flows into a kitchen with a countertop bar and stools.
2) Open kitchen fully equipped with a gas stove, full-sized fridge, dishwasher, appliances (oven, microwave, toaster, air fryer, Nutribullet) and plenty of cabinet storage.
3) Living room with comfortable sofa and entertainment setup (LG 48" OLED TV, Verizon FiOS internet).
4) Large bedroom with queen-sized bed, crown molding, and a gorgeous decorative fireplace
5) Massive walk-in closet with built-in storage system; also, it has a sectional desk that can serve as a workstation
6) Full bathroom with tub/shower, built-in storage, and floating shelves.
Coin-operated laundry is in the basement of the building. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.
The apartment is located just three blocks from historic Hamilton Park, and approximately 10 min. walking distance to/from the Grove St. PATH station for easy access to NYC.
It's available for sublet from September 26th to November 30th, 2025. Dates are flexible; longer-term stays—at least one month up to the full period—will be prioritized, though short-term requests are accepted.
Hi! I'm a professional working in tech as a UX Researcher. Prior to moving to Jersey City earlier this year, I spent four years abroad in Paris, France. However, I'm originally from NJ (Jersey Shore), and I've loved living in this apartment and neighborhood since the day I moved in. I'm a minimalist who keeps my place very clean, so it's essential that I find someone (or a couple) who will do the same and respect the space.
