Hi y'all,

I'm currently looking for an early to mid-August lease in the UWS, Morningside Heights, Harlem, Hamilton Heights, or Washington Heights. My main motivation for where I live is to be as close as possible to the main campus since I have a dog. I'm open to taking over a lease of a larger studio OR am open to living with roommates who are interested in co-creating a homey living space. My program is a dual degree program at Columbia that runs five semesters straight (no summer break) so my intention with this posting is to secure stable housing off the bat so as not to interrupt my studies. An ideal situation would be a lease takeover that would allow for me to remain put through June of 2027. My max budget is roughly $2,200 but I'm flexible.

I have a full kitchen, dining room set, carpet, robot vacuum etc. I want to collaborate with whomever I live with to create a super stable, cozy, and clean home environment. I’m curious to hear from prospective roommate(s) how they handle conflict and manage relationships in their home spaces.

About This Lister

Since graduating from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2017, I have managed fabrication shops in the Bay Area (nonprofits, higher ed, K-12). I've mentored students in elementary school to graduate school to retirees. Ask me about my background casting bronze and iron!

I am a humor driven person and try and keep my world silly and clout free. I deeply value banter, humility, and sensitivity around mental health. I’m queer (she/her) but honestly don’t have any preference of whom I live with in terms of gender or sexual identity. I’m drawn to roommates who are gentle, sassy, and curious.

I grew up in Philadelphia and Carmel, CA but have spent most of my adult life in NYC/Chicago/the Bay Area.

My main hobbies are hanging with my dog and cat, reading, pole dancing, paddle boarding, listening to a wide range of music, and engaging in critical theory around art. My dual master degree will be focusing on how to adapt, design, and build better infrastructure to match the future realities of climate change.

While I do not plan to work intensively during grad school, I'm currently a Director level administrator at a private school. My credit is 755~ and I have a guarantor with a score in the 800s.
