We’re subletting our spacious, cozy, and eclectic one-bedroom apartment in a quiet pocket of the neighborhood—just steps from transit, parks, restaurants, and grocery stores. The space is full of charm and character, ideal for both relaxing and entertaining, with a projector, sound system, and record player for music or movie nights. The apartment has a rich, lived-in material culture that makes it feel both inspiring and homey and you'll be welcome to use and peruse our books and records (but don't worry, we’ll be packing up some of our stuff and emptying our closets so there will be plenty of room for your things). It’s also great for co-working for folks who work from home: there are several nooks that offer enough separation for multiple people to work comfortably with a bit of privacy.

Our apartment is in a pre-war art deco building and has loads of architectural character: arched doorways, a built-in bookshelf, and a sunken living room. The building is well cared for, with a responsive super who’s quick to help and keeps everything running smoothly.

*Rent: $2400.56 per month, will increase by 3% according to NYC Rent Guidelines Board on 3/1/26.
*Utilities: Electricity bill usually ranges from $80-$120. Our Spectrum Wi-Fi plan is $93 per month, but you may be able to get a lower rate if you would prefer to open a new plan.
*Availability: September 1, 2025 - July 1, 2026. Dates are flexible, with the potential to stay in the apartment for the summer of 2026 and/or to renew for Fall 2026 - Summer 2027.
*Neighborhood: Washington Heights
*Transportation: 5 min walk to express A train, 10 min walk to local 1 train, 5 min walk to M4, M98, M100, and Bx7 buses. Bike share all over the neighborhood.

*Accessibility: ramp out front, elevator in the building, two steps into the living room. Air purifier in the living room with plenty of filters for your stay.

*A/C window units in the bedroom and living room.
