Hi!
I'm looking for a trustworthy subletter who will take good care of my comfy, convenient Flatbush apartment. This 4th floor walkup fully furnished, good lighting, 4th floor walk up (no upstairs neighbors,) two blocks from the train, with plenty of space to relax or work from home. I’m a writer and it’s well set up with a sitting desk, standing desk, and whiteboard.
Additional features:
Two fire escapes, installed water filter system, bidet toilet, roku tv, pullout sofa.
Location:
It takes about half an hour to get to Times Square. Citi bikes, cafes, Caribbean food, - close to Prospect Park to the North and Brighton Beach to the South. Street parking is fairly easy if you have a car.
**It's near Sweet Sundays Cafe in Flatbush - look it up to get a sense of the location.
I'm open to two possible arrangements, at different prices and the length of sublease is flexible from 2-6 months with a flexible move-in date from Sept 4th/5th and on:
1. $2400 - You have the place fully to yourself, for individuals or couples. I would need to be able to access it occasionally for maintenance purposes and if you're traveling, a timeshare would be appreciated.
2. $2100 You're a sometimes-communal creature and you're ok with occasionally sharing the space with me - it's a large one bedroom that easily splits into two spaces - with a pullout sofa in the living room. This arrangement means I can visit monthly for up to one week.
*Writing residency also possible if you're looking for mentorship, coaching, healing your artist voice, etc.
Let's discuss!
Warmly,
Marianna
I’m a bicoastal writer, educator, healer, and nomad. I love comedy, poetry, theatre, travel, and community with kindred spirits. I’m looking for a trustworthy, grounded person to sublet to and potentially occasionally be roommates with or use the apartment when you're traveling. This is a great space for creativity, work-from-home, and relaxation.

One small, well-behaved pet is possible though heavy shedders are not preferable. (No more than one though.)
I have books and items low to the ground in bookcases so no pets who like to chew or tear up objects, please.
