Hello Listers —
I’ll be traveling for work this summer and am looking for the right person to enjoy my beautiful, tranquil, modern apartment in Condesa/Roma Norte while I’m away.
Available: June 1 – July 20
Rent: $3000/month or $1000/week (utilities + weekly cleaning included)
Preference: One tenant for the full period; multi-week rentals only
A quick note on pricing, inspired by another lister: This is a direct pass-through of my costs as a tenant — rent, utilities, maintenance, and weekly cleaning. I’m not making a profit.
The apartment is approximately 150 sq meters / 1600+ sq ft in one of the best locations in CDMX: walking distance to Chapultepec Park, Parque México, Parque España, incredible cafés, galleries, restaurants, markets, museums, and more.
About the Apartment
This is a true 2-bedroom apartment with:
2 en suite bathrooms
Additional guest bathroom
Walk-through office/workspace
Elevator
24-hour security
Parking
The apartment is peaceful, thoughtfully designed, and fully furnished with vintage and mid-century pieces along with high-quality mattresses and linens. It’s filled with art, books, plants, natural light, and all the comforts needed for living and working well.
This is a quiet, creative home — I'm a bilingual writer and journalist and have hosted writers and photographers, landscape artists, creative entrepreneurs and the wonderful in-laws of CDMX friends.
Highlights
☀️ Incredible light and a treetop balcony view
🏡 Spacious layout with room to work comfortably from home
🛋️ Tasteful design and comfortable furnishings
📚 Personal library of fiction, poetry, art, and nonfiction
🎶 Bose sound system + record player, flatscreen TV's for Netflix
🍳 Fully equipped kitchen
🫧 Washer-dryer
🌬️ AC and air purifiers
👕 Ample closet space
The apartment is on a quiet, leafy street just minutes from Lardo and many of the area's other beloved restaurants and cafés. There’s also an excellent open-air produce market every Tuesday a few blocks away.
Ideal Guest
I’m looking for a mature, respectful professional or a couple who will genuinely appreciate and care for the space. No smoking, even on the balconies, no parties and sadly no pets (strictly not allowed in the unit). While not required, I'd love a bilingual guest who is self-sufficient and won't need Spanish translation help.
This is my primary residence and has been carefully furnished and curated. I'm looking for someone who is interested in treating it as their own.
I’ve lived in Mexico City for the past two years and would be glad to share recommendations! Please feel free to reach out with any questions and for more photos (for privacy, I have not posted bedroom pics)
