I have a beautiful guest house, with it's own beautiful stream access and yard.
The house has a bedroom, livingroom, office (which could be another small bedroom), full bath and kitchen.
Animals are welcome (assuming they are well behaved).
We are a 15 minute drive from the Hudson Amtrak station to NYC.
It is possible to get lyft/taxi rides into town but I would strongly recommend having a car.
Close to lakes for swimming, and ski mountains in the winter, beautiful hikes, farm stores, breweries, and all the goodies upstate has to offer. Also about 20min from Great Barrington.
I live on the property in a separate house.
Sadly the house may not be a good fit for someone with a wheelchair as there are steps up to the house from the driveway.

Utilities not included but the house is heated with electric (much more stable than oil).

The unit is currently furnished, if you would like to rent long term and would like it unfurnished we can discuss.

Open to a month to month arrangement, or a shorter term lease.
