Looking for someone to sublet my apartment while I’m away for two weeks. It’s a cozy, light-filled spot in a small 4-unit building on the 1st floor, just one block from McGolrick Park (arguably the most beautiful park in North Brooklyn!).
The Space
The apartment has one bedroom, a separate living room, and a small office nook that’s perfect for working from home. It’s clean, minimally decorated, and filled with natural light. The layout is a classic old-school Greenpoint railroad (no electronic building entrance — you’ll have keys), with hardwood floors throughout. Wifi and a TV with plenty of streaming services are included, along with all utilities. Please note there’s no dishwasher.
The Neighborhood
You’ll be steps from Variety Coffee, a grocery store, and a great stretch of restaurants and bars on Nassau Avenue. A laundromat with both wash-and-fold and self-service is just around the corner, and it’s an easy 10-minute walk to both the L and G trains.
It’s a simple, sunny, and well-situated apartment in the heart of Greenpoint — ideal for someone who wants a peaceful home base with the best of the neighborhood just outside the door.
I'm the current tenant, and have been in the apartment a year and a half. Mid-30's, remote worker, moved to NYC from Brussels about 6 years ago!
The neighbors are friendly (as is the landlord who lives on the first floor).
The building is very quiet and peaceful. No parties please :).
Full amount due before start date.
