My 1 bedroom apartment in the Roma Sur neighborhood will be available with flexible dates from this June through October while I travel for artist residencies and creative projects. It is a one story walk up on a quiet street with lots of natural light. As an artist and writer myself, I’ve filled the apartment with art, books, records, etc., it’s a very personal and creative space that I hope will inspire its guests!

The price includes utilities and high speed internet. The rooms are as follows:

Fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, fridge, ice maker, microwave, coffee maker, air fryer, blender, and instant pot.

Large living room with fold out couch, air purifier/fan, tv, dvd/bluray player, turntable & sound system, yoga equipment & free weights.

Bedroom with queen size mattress, air purifier, fan, work desk, office chair, and built-in closet space for your belongings.

Bathroom with shower and tub incl. safety bar.

The neighborhood is walkable with many cafes, restaurants, markets, gyms, shops, etc. I’m happy to share my recommendations for the area. The apartment is close to 3 major transit lines via the Nuevo León and Viaducto Metrobús stops and the Chilpancingo Metro stop.

The building is small and quiet with mostly long term residents. Respect is key and some Spanish is a plus!

I’m a writer and filmmaker who has lived in Mexico City for over 8 years and in this apartment for over 5. I have a great relationship with my landlady, but she’s very hands off and does not live nearby. The neighbors are friendly and quiet — most are senior citizens so any guests need to be respectful. While I am traveling, a local friend will be available 24/7 for any issues and needs.
