Hi there! We’re renting out our lovely 1-bedroom apartment in the southern part of Sunset Park, right by 61st St and 6th Ave. It’s nestled between Brooklyn’s bustling Chinatown and a vibrant Latino neighborhood—a perfect spot to explore the city!

[About the Apartment]

- Availbility: Aug 6th-31st ; Nov 1st - Jan 16th.
- Rent: $550 per week (includes all utilities).
- Stay: Minimum 1 week (but we’d love to host you for the full period).
- Space for 2: Perfect for you and a friend or partner—pets are welcome, too!

Our place is spacious at 750 sqft, with a cozy brick-walled living room that connects to a large bedroom/office, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Every room has windows, so it’s bright and airy. The apartment is furnished, but we’ll clear out some space to make sure it feels like your home.
We also have a projector and Bluetooth speaker hooked up to Apple TV—perfect for curling up with a movie on chilly evenings.

[The Neighborhood]

The area has a quiet, family-friendly vibe with lots of cultural gems nearby. In less than 10 minutes on foot, you can:
- Stroll through Brooklyn’s largest Chinatown on 7th and 8th Ave—amazing food, shops, and more.
- Discover delicious Latino restaurants, cafés, and stores on 4th and 5th Ave.

Right downstairs is Gigi Café, a little treasure where you’ll find (in our opinion) the best breakfast burrito in NYC!

Other neighborhood highlights:
- Sunset Park: A 20-minute walk will take you to this stunning park, where you can watch the sun set behind the Manhattan skyline. It’s a lively spot with local families enjoying the open space.
- Little Palestine in Bay Ridge: A nearby cultural gem worth exploring.

[Getting Around]

The apartment is just a 7-minute walk from the 59th St N/R subway station.

Hi! My name is Dongren, and I’ve been living in New York for almost seven years now. I work in film as a director and editor, often diving into stories that explore the Asian Diaspora experience here in NYC. My partner, Minsu, is a researcher in anthropology, and together, we’re passionate about connecting with people who share our interests, whether it’s in art, culture, or community.

We love creating a cozy, welcoming home that reflects our values of presence and connection. Nesting, exploring, and being part of a vibrant community are things we truly cherish.
