Beautiful, sun-filled studio apartment available for sublet December and January with the possibility of extension with the right person. We are located just five blocks from Forte Greene Park on a tree lined street. We are in walking distance to Dekalb Ave, where there are multiple coffee shops and restaurants. It is. family friendly neighborhood.

The apartment is on the first floor of a gorgeous old Brownstone (one flight up from the street, not the garden apartment), and gets sunlight all day long through a gorgeous bay window. There are gorgeous hardwood floors and plants. Space is minimally furnished, so that it feels spacious, with a cozy couch and coffee table, a small kitchen against one wall and a lofted queen size bed so that it really feels more like a one bedroom. Loft is accessible by stairs (not a ladder), so its easy to go up and down.

Neighbors in the building are quiet, respectful and sweet, and if there are any issues, I will be in town and can be available same day for most of the stay, or will have somebody to address any issues that arise.

There is a laundromat two blocks away that you can drop off laundry at.

Utilities and wifi are included in the rental price.

I am looking for a quiet, respectful subletter, ideally who is there mostly solo. I am open to renting to the right couple. No pets allowed.

About This Lister

I am a choreographer and director who lives and works between New York City and Los Angeles. I am very neat and keep a clean space. I am the tenant and will be showing the space. I will be available by phone or in person to problem solve any issues that arise. I use she/her pronouns. I like open, clear communication and value a calm energy.

Rental requirements

I would require an ID (ideally two forms), a written sublease agreement, a deposit, an additional cleaning fee. I would also require a facetime conversation or showing in person to see if we are a good fit.

Priority will be given to people who can do multiple months or at least comit to one month. I am open to extending the sublet past January with the right person, potentially through May.
