The space will be available approximately 3 months for an autumn sublet (my dates are flexible with a minimum one month commitment) of my classic 3 room fully furnished railroad apartment in the heart of bustling Lower East Side neighborhood abounding with all kinds of restaurants, galleries, boutiques and still the occasional Buddhist temple or synagogue. Just blocks from multiple subway and bus routes, really it's a great location. I'm on the top floor in the back of building so it's relatively quiet but it's also a 5 floor walk up. The space gets great light during the day and there's robust Wifi (I work remote) & all utilities included. It's a little funky/old school with my tub in the kitchen next to an oversized farmer's sink but everything works. There are basically four rooms. The main bedroom with Cal King bed, middle room that is half kitchen then half tub area (see pictures), then a smaller room I use for an office space and a water closet/bathroom which houses just the toilet. Trader Joe's and Target are literally around the corner but also Essex Market and myriad other options for food/groceries. Laundromat is half a block away. Ideally looking for someone who will respect and take as good care of the place as I do, retrieve mail & not kill my plants. ;)

I'm a he/him writer who's taking time outside the city to focus on a project. I'm planning to be gone for the dates listed but can be a little flex though ideally, if the stars align, it'd be swell to find someone for the entire period. That said, for the right person I'm happy to prorate any length of stay for a minimum of one month during the period listed. I'm the lease holder and will be showing the space either virtually or in person ASAP.
