The neighborhood:
Flatbush / Lefferts Gardens is one of Brooklyn’s most diverse and welcoming areas. Lots of cafés, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and little clothing shops on every block. It’s a very walkable, easy neighborhood with everything close by.

Transportation:
You’ll be well connected, 4 subway lines within a 10-minute walk (Q/B and 2/5 trains) and lots of busses too (B41, B16, B12, B49 and more) , making it super quick to get into Manhattan or anywhere else in Brooklyn.

Ideal for:
Someone looking for a comfortable, no-stress place to land for the holidays; a creative needing a quiet, cozy spot; or anyone wanting to be close to Prospect Park with an easy commute.

My family and I have lived in New York for ten years now. I’m the mother of two teenagers. I work as a high school Spanish teacher and I’m also a psychotherapist with my own practice in Spain. My ex-husband is a cool and runs his own company of Spanish imported products, and I co-parent and share this studio while our main apartment serves as a nesting home for our kids.

I love traveling, reading, art, film, and anything related to culture. I’m also an absolute food lover. My ex-husband is a chef and runs his own Spanish imported products company, so good food and community are a big part of our lives.

We’re originally from Spain and we’ll be spending the holidays there with our families. However, during the dates of the sublet I will be in NYC and fully available should anything come up or if you need assistance with the apartment.

I’m very responsible, communicative, and respectful of people’s space, and I’m looking for someone who will treat our studio with the same care and calm energy with which we live in it.
