I’m subletting my fully furnished, cozy, and light-filled studio in Crown Heights for most of the Winter. Located right on Bedford Avenue, you’ll be steps away from great cafés, restaurants, and bars, with the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Museum, and Prospect Park just a 15-20 minute walk away.
The studio features a beautiful exposed brick wall, a comfortable full-size bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom. The dining table/desk is adjustable, offering flexibility for work or dining. To top it off, there’s a Bluetooth sound system that adds to the apartment’s warm ambiance. For your enjoyment, there’s also a Spanish guitar, a ukulele, a projector wooden electric piano, a Dell monitor, and even a bike available for use.
The building includes a rooftop—perfect for soaking in some sunlight on winter days—and has both a washer and dryer on-site for added convenience.
I have a few beautiful plants that need some care while I’m away, so I’d appreciate someone who enjoys taking care of them!
Wi-Fi and all utilities are included in the price, and the studio is located on the second floor of a walk-up building.

I’m Carla (she/her), an Argentinian journalist in my early 30s. I moved to New York four years ago to do my Master's at NYU on a Fulbright scholarship, and I’m currently working as a digital product manager for a magazine.
Besides news media, I’m passionate about music and body movement. I see in yoga, singing, dancing, and writing not just hobbies, but my favorite ways of creating and being in the world (especially when practiced in community).
After moving to this space a couple of years ago, I've learned to truly love it. So, it would be very important to me to find someone like-minded and responsible who will enjoy and take good care of it while I’m away.

Dates are (slightly) flexible. I’ll prioritize someone interested in subletting for the entire period, but I’m open to month-by-month arrangements if needed.
If you're interested, please tell me a bit about yourself, your ideal move-in and move-out dates, and what you’ll be doing during your stay. Since this is my home, I’d love to meet the person I’ll be subletting to, so we can set up a quick visit or a video call. During the call, I’ll give you a virtual tour, talk through the next steps, and answer any questions you might have.
To secure the place, I’ll ask for a refundable security deposit worth a month's rent via Zelle or Venmo. After that, I'll ask you to sign a sublease contract. Ideally, we'll set payments once a month starting the first day of the contract, but I'm open to discussing alternatives if needed.
For safety reasons, I may ask for some personal details like an ID, social media links, or references (and you’re welcome to do the same with me).
