I'm renting my house while I travel to the city to teach. It's light-filled, comfortable, and pet-friendly. Perfect for one person or a couple. There's a front porch, back patio and backyard for quiet mornings and evenings. I've recently redone the bathroom with a soaking tub and heated floors. I have a writing nook upstairs that overlooks the mountains. There are mini-splits with AC and since we're at a higher elevation, the temperature is cooler than even 15 minutes south.
This is my primary residence, so please treat it with care. It's a 100+-year old house that I'm in the process of renovating, and the price reflects this.
I have a 240V EV charger, French press/espresso machine, portable dishwasher, washer/dryer, projector and screen, and plenty of books to read!
Dates are flexible (could do a shorter time, or multiple weeks split up)...
I'm a writer and professor based in Palenville who owns the home but has to travel for work in the summer. I'm a dog-lover whose dog will be away at a horse farm (summer camp!) while I'm gone. I'm looking for someone/a couple who is respectful, communicative, and would enjoy a creative refuge.
I own the home.
$250 security deposit, returnable at the end of the stay if all looks good.
I'm allergic to cats but dogs are fine provided they are well-trained.
