Spend time in this quiet and cozy private bedroom near beautiful Astoria Park. It's located just minutes from Ditmars blvd, which is lined with great shopping, delicious restaurants (Astoria is known for its Greek cuisine), coffee shops, bakeries, grocery stores, gyms and group fitness locations. A short ride on either the N or the W train will take you straight into Manhattan for work or for enjoyment. The surrounding area of this private room rental provides the option of Manhattan action and/or the recluse of humble suburban living. After a long day of work or adventure, feel free to unwind in the fully furnished bedroom with a mounted Roku TV and Netflix for streaming the latest movies and tv shows (feel free to log in on your own streaming accounts as well!).
The shared bathroom space has basic necessities available for your use and the kitchen has plenty of cookware for your home-cooked cuisines (although, I'd highly recommend tasting as many restaurants as you can while you're here!).
The laundromat is right behind the apartment building and also has an affordable dry cleaning service which I use.

**Please Note: This apartment is the home of two friendly cats who pretty much keep to themselves but are open to making new friends. For the sake of peace and a small space, no other pets will be allowed. If you've never had pets, or do not care for cats, this will not be the best option for you.

The MTA subway station is a 10-12 minute walk located on 31st and Ditmars Blvd. You can Access the N & W trains there to take you directly into Manhattan.

The Q100 and the Q69 bus stops are a short 7 minute walk a few blocks from the apartment.

Citibike is an option as well right at the end of the apartment block on 21st ave.

Free street parking on premises. Street sweeping happens once a week on Tuesday's from 9:30am-11:00am.

It's perfectly fine if you're using the space primarily as a crash pad. Bonus if you love cats! I have two cats, you can engage with them as much or as little as you see fit. I prefer individuals who are focused in their career, enjoy having fun, but like to keep their living space as a calm and quiet reprieve. A couple guests are fine, but the party must remain outside.
