I'm looking for a short term sublet while I am out of NYC this summer. It's a classic pre-war Brooklyn apartment, with good lighting and a cozy feel. It's a fully furnished Junior One Bedroom, with a combined living room and bedroom, but a separate kitchen and eating area.
The space works great for a single person or a couple. It's also WFH -friendly, I have a sit-stand desk and could leave you my monitor if requested.
The building is on the border of Clinton Hill and Fort Greene, near the A/C and G subway lines. It's walking distance to both Fort Greene Park and Prospect Park, as well as many shops, cafes, restaurants.
It's on the 2nd floor of an elevator building. It's an older building so it does not have central air but I do have a window AC unit and fans.
There's also no laundry. For laundry you can either go to a laundromat a few blocks away or do a laundry delivery service (this is what I do and can give you their info if you're interested).
I am a working professional in the sustainability space, and have lived in NYC for the last 8 years. My work requires a lot of travel, which is why I am looking for a sublet for the summer.
You will be required to sign a sublet contract, and pay the rental fee + deposit ahead of time. The rent amount includes internet and utilities.
As this is the apartment I live in full time, I would also prefer to have an in-person showing to meet each other ahead of time. Also roommate or landlord referrals a plus!
