⭐ Culture⭐
We are seeking someone who is responsible, respectful and easygoing. We use the kitchen quite often to cook so it is important to us that we all strive to keep the place clean (we still use a chore chart to encourage group accountability.) We are most compatible with people that are empathetic, interested in social justice, and are community orientated while having appreciation for solitude.
If you're interested, please message me introducing yourself and a brief description of your expectations for shared housing - we are happy to accommodate different personalities and lifestyles so as long as the person is interested in contributing to the peaceful environment.
Two females in their late 20s, both work in the theatre industry. We both like to be active and move around, but I am an introvert and more of a homebody. We enjoy a peaceful environment at home. We are friends and spend time together but also do our own thing, so no pressure to feel the need to do stuff with us. Sometimes we’ll host social gatherings in the apartment or have friends visit and stay on the couch. We always give a heads up when we are hosting in some capacity!
Current tenant
From our landlord:
1. Completed Rental Application: Each prospective roommate needs to fill out the rental application in full. This includes all requested information about personal details, rental history, and any other required fields.
2. Authorization for Credit and Income Check: As part of the application, each candidate authorizes us to verify their credit and proof of income. This step is crucial as it allows us to perform our due diligence and ensure that the new tenant meets our criteria.
3. Supporting Documents: Along with the completed application, candidates should provide:
- Proof of income (such as recent pay stubs or an employment offer letter and 2 months bank statements)
- Identification (a copy of a government-issued ID)
- Any additional references if requested (e.g., previous landlord references)
Security deposit is one month's rent.
From us:
We would like a reference to contact who you have previously lived with (family is OK too.) Very chill - just mostly for us to verify your character as a roommate.
There is flexibility around the move in date - can move in as soon as June 15 or even later - please also mention when you would intend to move in!
