Creative Assistant

Supporting an indie alt-pop singer/songwriter based in Venice, CA with a Top 100 Apple Podcasts show. She's looking for a reliable, detail-oriented creative assistant to cover this role during a maternity leave in July and August, with the possibility of staying on longer.
What you'll do
- Draft and send weekly emails to her fan list (1–2x/week)
- Post to Discord and Instagram Broadcast channel on a regular cadence
- Podcast support: guest scheduling and comms, coordinating with editors, uploading to Captivate/Spotify/YouTube, create cutdowns for IG Reels
- Calendar management and light inbox support
- Occasional support on events
How We Work
- One weekly video call on Mondays for status and alignment
- Everything else is async over text and email
- You'll work closely with a current team member during a handoff period before the leave starts
You're a good fit if you
- Have experience supporting a solo creator, artist or entrepreneur
- Know your way around email marketing tools, podcast platforms, and social media
- Are highly organized, reliable, and good at keeping things moving
- Have some familiarity with or genuine interest in the music and podcasting world
Nice to Have
- Experience with Captivate, Spotify for Podcasters, or YouTube uploads
- Familiarity with ManyChat, Discord community management, or - IG Broadcast channels
- Basic Canva skills
The Details
- Fully remote
- 5–8 hours per week
- Starting July 2025, running through August with potential to continue longer
- Compensation dependent on your experience

You'll be in contact with the artist's current creative assistant during hiring. Day-to-day, you'll work directly with the artist herself.
The work is creative and collaborative.
The team is just the two of you. Everything is fully remote and async-friendly. No office, no set hours, just getting things done on a flexible schedule.
