I have a room (10x10) for rent beginning November 1. The room gets a lot of natural light and has a private balcony overlooking green space. It's a 2 bedroom/1 bath located in the historical Sunnyside Gardens area. It's a quiet residential neighborhood with tree-lined streets. Very quaint. The apartment is on the 2nd floor with one flight of stairs. The living and dining rooms are furnished, the room for rent is unfurnished and has a closet. The room can fit a twin or full sized bed, dresser, and desk. Plenty of cabinet space in the kitchen for you to bring whatever you like to use. This is a month to month rental and as long as all goes well, I'm fine with a long term sublease. The rent is $1275/month, utilities are separate and normally around $75/month including wifi. We share buying household supplies and cleaning responsibilities.
I'm looking for a mature and considerate roommate who cares about keeping the apartment a peaceful environment. My interests include holistic health, yoga, art, and music. I work mostly at nights in the music industry. I want to share the apartment with someone who respects the space where we can have friendly chats when we have time.
The neighborhood has plenty of bars, restaurants, and coffee shops close by, 24 grocery stores and a laundromat is a block away. The apartment is a 10 min walk to the 46th or 52nd stop on the 7 line. The LIRR Woodside station is around a 15 min walk as well.

My nights are usually working or going out in the city. I'm definitely a night owl. My job is social and once I get home, I'm quiet and usually watch tv in my room.
