We're looking to rent our fully furnished, single-family, mid-century modern home, nestled in the hills of Glassell Park, while we are away for 3 weeks. Our home is 1370sqft, with 1 main bedroom and 1 office (with a sleepaway couch), 1.5 bathrooms, a living room, and open kitchen/dining room. The kitchen has original 1957 seafoam green formica countertops and restored vintage appliances, as well as a spacious dining area with custom panoramic windows. Sumptuous light fills the open living area, with gorgeous custom built shelves and Milgard sliding glass walls that open onto a deck featuring panoramic vistas of the Angeles National Forest mountains. The terraced backyard leads to a flat grassy yard with vibrant bogenvials lining the fence. Our street is quiet, with plenty of free-street parking. Little Rippers -- the best coffee shop in the neighborhood -- is within walking distance (just a 5 minute walk down the hill), and within a 5 min drive are some of LA's best eats including Dunsmoor and Bub and Grandma's. Glassell Park abuts some of the coolest places on the east side -- Highland Park, Atwater, and Eagle Rock.
