Essential Qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license
• Your own insured vehicle (station wagon, small SUV, or larger – must fit a box that is 96” x 4” x 4”)
• Familiarity with driving and parking in NYC
• Experience in art handling, catering or events
• basic carpentry and repair skills, basic furniture assembly skills
• Your own facility (studio, home or storage) to store and maintain a small inventory (fits in a closet)
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs
• Punctual, dependable, and highly organized, with attention to detail
• Professional attitude and appearance for working with high-end clients and wedding vendors
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Chuppah Studio, a boutique company specializing in fine art marriage canopies and chuppahs, is seeking a Driver / Installer / Inventory Manager to handle weekend deliveries and installations of modular wedding canopy structures for weddings in the NYC area, beginning in January 2026 or sooner.
This independent contractor position offers seasonal and occasional weekend work, ideal for someone with art handling, events, carpentry, or service industry experience who has their own vehicle, and is looking to supplement their income.
